I love the look of this bike, but I wish it were a smidge bigger in a few spots. For example, I have small hands and the handlebars still feel short.
Overall, I’m happy with the bike but wouldn’t recommend it for larger people.

I love my new Mixte City 7-speed. Having managed to reach my seventies, climbing on and wrangling a deraileur bike was getting to be a bit much. This is the perfect bike for my daily ride around Lake Merritt in Oakland. It's easy to get on and off, the gears shift beautifully and the brakes are a major upgrade from my 40-year-old Bridgestone. Hey, and it looks pretty darn snazzy, too. Thanks for such a great product.

It gets the job done. If it’s your first bike it’s great. If you’re an avid biker I wouldn’t suggest this bike. The parts are a bit flimsy and really aren’t meant for constant commuter use. My bike broke within the first 3 weeks of me having it. My local bike shop was able to fix it and Retrospec sent me the part that needed replacing which was great. But ultimately, I just wouldn’t suggest this for constant commuter use. I’d recommend going to your local bike shop. That way you can see the bike in person, feel the parts and know if it would hold for what you’re needing. If you want a casual bike to ride from time to time. Then this one is great for that!
